About CCF

Christian Campus Fellowship is a non-denominational ministry, to the students of VU. CCF is unique in it's own way, in that we are the only campus ministry that offers Christian housing for the students at VU. This provides a refuge and a place to hang out and get away from the pressures of college life. Through all that we do, we hope to show that there is an alternative to what the world is pushing.

CCF started as a Sunday school for college age students in the home of Frank and Leysa Frye. In 1989, it became a college ministry. The ministry then moved to a rented building where several students could also live. When the rented building was outgrown, CCF relocated to a house on Portland Avenue in 1995. The house was called the ‘Joshua House’ and a new addition was built to the back to accommodate the growing need for space. It was called the LOFT (standing for: Living Our Faith Together). In 2002-2003, we completed the second phase of building, which included housing for both guys and gals. Due to the VU campus expanding, CCF once again changed locations in the summer of 2008. Now, the CCF building is located at 102 East Lyndale Avenue, just one block away from the Red Skelton Center on the VU campus. The CCF offices, fellowship and worship areas can be found at this Lyndale Avenue location. The CCF LOFT still provides housing for male and female second year students attending Vincennes University.
